Gah! I can't believe summer's almost done already! I ended up wasting so much of it doing schoolwork and slacking off that I didn't get to do NEARLY as much drawing as I had hoped (you know, to get some practice in before school starts), which kinda explains my lack of uploads here on dev over the past few months.
Anyway, if you haven't already guessed, yes, I made all my deadlines for university. I'm really going to OCAD to become an illustrator!!!

Words can't really describe how excited I am, but I can't wait! Mind, that doesn't mean I'm not terribly nervous at the same time, since I'm going to be spending pretty much all my time in the big city- and, well, after living in the suburbs for my whole life, it'll be quite a change to get used to (though I'm only commuting, so I'll still be living here at home). Luckily, Chelsea and myself have been making a few trips to the city to try and get used to it, since she'll be going to a nearby college (thank god), so I'm starting to get a bit more familiar with the route I'll have to take. And, considering my dismal sense of direction, this is quite a good thing. Plus, living at home means I still get to keep working at the theatre at the very least (I like my job too much. XD), so I'll have something to do when I'm back here in good ol' Milton.
As for where deviantart and artwork itself are concerned, well, since I'm going to be living and breathing art for the next 4 years, I get the feeling that I will have much to contribute to my account here during my studies. Here's hoping that I improve!
Anyway, I'll try and update this thing once in a while so that I can keep track of what I need to get done and such during the school year, since I'm such a scatter brain/procrastinator...Hope everyone had a good summer!
